Welcome.
If you have found your way here it is likely you are living a life you didn't ask for. A life where grief (and the pain of grief) is part of the deal wherever there is love. I am not here to 'fix' your grief, that would be impossible. I am here to support you as you move with the many aspects of grief, finding your way forward, living and grieving at the same time.
Grief is a normal process when a significant loss is experienced.
We are wired for deep, connected bonds and when faced with loss, it is understandable that your whole world feels tilted on its axis - because it is.
Grief is somewhat considered taboo in our culture, often not talked about or masks are worn with a quick "I'm ok'' in the grocery line.
Your loss deserves a space to be seen, deeply acknowledged and supported. Your grief is welcome here.
Grief is heavy. Carrying this weight is hard. Although grief is ever apart of your fabric, as you move through there will be times where you may find you can put it down in some moments and eventually, build the muscles to carry it moving forward.
What can grief counselling do for you?

* Provides practical coping strategies for you to heal moving forward (because we are all different and as such, what we need will be too)
* Provides grief education (no more wondering if what you are feeling is "normal')
